
Anastacia Ribas is a somatic facilitator and Body & Mind Coach, with more than 10 years of experience in conscious movement, nervous system regulation, and creating safe spaces.
Originally from Porto, she has lived in Dubai for the past 12 years, where she founded Anastacia Somatics a decade ago. She also collaborates with the Embody Lab and works as a Training Consultant for Lyra Wellbeing MENA, contributing to the development of wellness programs, somatic education, and trauma-aware practices for international settings.
Her work is centered on helping people regulate the nervous system through the body. Using somatic practices, therapeutic movement, and embodied coaching, she supports the restoration of inner safety, emotional clarity, and presence.
Her approach is relational, experiential, and deeply trauma-aware, drawing on knowledge from human movement, somatic psychology, and body education.
She has completed more than 500 hours of yoga training, including Yin, Restorative, and Prenatal styles, as well as advanced training in Embodied Yoga (300h), Somatic Movement through the Feldenkrais Method, Fascia & Human Movement with Gary Carter, TRE (Trauma Release Exercises), IFS – Internal Family Systems, Yoga for Trauma, Creating Safer Spaces, and IPS certification.
As a mother, she brings lived experience that strongly shapes her work with emotional regulation, relational safety, and somatic care.
She is currently developing her own trauma-aware somatic method, integrating the body, the nervous system, embodied presence, and therapeutic education for personal, professional, and facilitation contexts.
She leads workshops, trainings, and retreats in Portugal, the Middle East, and internationally.
