Anandajyoti (Anthony Tribe) has been a dedicated member of Triratna for many years and was ordained in 1978. He began practicing yoga in London in the mid-1970s, later deepening his studies in India with B.K.S. Iyengar. In 1979, he became a certified Iyengar teacher, and for the next sixteen years he taught across England and Europe, sharing a grounded and disciplined approach to practice.

After moving to the United States, his teaching evolved further through the breath-centered influence of T.K.V. Desikachar, bringing greater subtlety and awareness to his work. Alongside yoga, Anandajyoti is also a Buddhist scholar with a doctorate in Indian Tantric Buddhism from Oxford University.
