Amy Jo Bale brings a lifelong commitment to wellness to her work at Steamboat Hot Springs. With nearly 20 years of healthcare experience, primarily supporting Native and veteran communities through public health dentistry, she has devoted her career to helping people heal and thrive. Now studying massage therapy and approaching licensure, she is excited to step more fully into the world of bodywork and holistic wellness.
Amy Jo is inspired by the ever-changing nature of the wellness industry and hopes to encourage others on their own self-care journeys. For her, working at Steamboat has felt serendipitous, and she deeply appreciates the supportive team and the uniquely healing energy of the space.
She is especially drawn to Thai massage, hot stone therapy, craniosacral work, and aromatherapy. Amy Jo believes it is essential to find and stay committed to a personal self-care practice, and she loves being part of an environment that nurtures that intention. The mineral waters invite her to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect.
Outside of work, she enjoys literary projects, cooking, gardening, traveling, and somatic practices that support nervous system regulation.
Amy Jo is fascinated by bridge structures and the symbolism they carry, representing connection and the journey from one place to another.
