Américo Mahua Campos comes from the Shipibo community of Pahoyan in the Peruvian Amazon and is part of a deeply respected lineage of healers. He was trained by his late father, Pascual Mahua, a revered healer and honored member of the community, and is also the brother of Robertina Mahua.
With decades of experience, Américo brings a grounded presence, humility, and quiet strength to the maloca. His work will be centered primarily with the groups joining the Payanti & Cultural Immersion program, offering participants an authentic encounter rooted in tradition, care, and cultural depth.
