My yoga path began 15 years ago, and over time it has remained a steady practice I return to again and again. Yoga has helped me navigate stress and anxiety, while also supporting strength and resilience in my body. It has also shaped the way I relate to the natural world and to every being within it.
My love for this practice inspired me to complete my 200YTT in 2022, so I could share yoga within our community. My personal practice is deeply rooted in Bhakti Yoga, the yoga of love and devotion, and that spirit guides the way I teach and offer this work to others.
It is an honor to support anyone seeking guidance through their asana practice. I am committed to creating an inclusive space where people feel welcome, safe, and supported exactly as they are. Each class is thoughtfully curated to offer a unique experience that invites challenge, builds strength and flexibility, and meets you wherever you are in your practice.
My classes are lighthearted, fun, and energetic, while still making room for mindful breathing and movement meditation. As a white woman teaching asana, I believe it is important to honor the roots of yoga by acknowledging its long lineages. I regularly include Sanskrit alongside English posture names, and sometimes weave in Vedic philosophy and literature to shape the theme of a class. On rare occasions, I may also offer a little mantra at the close of practice.
I hope each class leaves you with a piece of this ancient tradition to carry with you. Om Shanti Shanti Shanti — Peace, Peace, Peace.
