Amanda Owles is a hypno-psychotherapist and a member of the British Psychologist Society (BPS). She holds a specialist certificate in clinical hypnotherapy and brings together her background in education with a strong commitment to helping people move beyond subconscious barriers shaped by childhood trauma or outdated beliefs. A dedicated researcher and scholar, Amanda began her professional journey in education, with a focus on Special Education Needs and Disabilities, and has earned two master’s degrees.
Through psychotherapy and hypnotherapy, you can begin to take greater control of your thoughts, emotions, goals, and daily life. Hypnotherapy can be especially helpful for navigating common challenges such as work or personal stress, anxiety, sleep difficulties, weight management, or quitting smoking. By working with subconscious imagination and visualisation, supported by personalised suggestions, it is possible to create meaningful and lasting change.
Hypnotherapy may support a wide range of concerns, including stress, anxiety, PTSD, panic attacks, phobias, OCD, substance abuse, grief and loss, relaxation, self-esteem, confidence, resilience, tics and habits, behavioural problems, SEND, enuresis, encopresis, bruxism, insomnia, and other sleep issues. Finding the right support is essential, and Amanda can create a programme tailored to your needs and desired outcomes. The aim is to help you wake up feeling energised, empowered, and ready to meet each day with confidence. A minimum of four sessions is recommended.
