Founder and Principal Teacher of Namaste House Yoga Studio, Alison Quinlan is a Senior Yoga Teacher, ERYT-500/YACEP, and a Certified Happiness Coach and Grief Coach. Based in Ireland, she is widely respected for teaching yoga from its roots through the Eight Limbs, with a steady devotion to depth, integrity, and practice.
Her path began in a very different world: a former ballet dancer and creative professional, Alison first encountered yoga while studying at NCAD. Following an award-winning career in the Irish Film Industry as a Marketing and Communications Director, she chose a more inward journey, guided by dharma rather than deadlines. Since 2019, she has led Namaste House Yoga School as a space for embodied movement, soulful learning, and community connection.
Alison teaches Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, Somatic Movement, and Yoga Nidra, bringing a signature style that is reflective, poetic, and unafraid of silence. Her classes invite students to rest in the space between fear and fearlessness, and to feel more while performing less.
Alongside her husband, David, an Iyengar Yoga teacher, she leads 200-Hour Teacher Trainings and Continuing Education programmes at Namaste House. She is also an experienced international retreat leader, guiding groups in India, Spain, and Italy with a blend of adventure and authentic yogic insight.
In addition to teaching, Alison offers 1:1 mentoring and soul-led support through her coaching work. Grounded, compassionate, and fiercely kind, her approach helps others live their truth and fly their fabulous flags. She continues to study each year, walking the path of yoga with humility, curiosity, and love, and her lived experience informs a deep reverence for healing through presence, breath, and being seen.
