
Alison Green Myers is an educator, novelist, and speaker whose work is rooted in storytelling and support for emerging voices. As Program Director at Boyds Mills, she helps guide storytellers through fellowships and offers thoughtful care throughout their careers. Her writing includes the Schneider Family Award-winning A BIRD WILL SOAR (Dutton/2021) and THIS WAY TO HAPPY (Dutton/2025), which was selected by the Junior Library Guild.
A National Writing Project fellow and teaching artist with Bethel Woods’ educational programs, Alison brings creativity, insight, and warmth to every setting. She especially enjoys spending time with curious kids and encouraging young imaginations to grow. Based in the woods of Pennsylvania, she shares her home with two extraordinary humans and their two beloved dogs.
