Alexandre is widely regarded as one of France’s most respected teachers and has remained a devoted student of Iyengar Yoga throughout his life. For 30 years, he studied the teachings of B. K. S. Iyengar under the guidance of Faeq Biria in Paris. It was Faeq and Corine Biria who first encouraged him to begin teaching 18 years ago.
He went on to build a loyal following in leading Paris studios, teaching privately and in the business world, while also regularly assisting Corine Biria in therapeutic classes at the Iyengar Centre in Paris. Today, he continues to teach privately, offering each student the same care and precision.
His experience in asana and pranayama is matched by a clear, relaxed teaching style. He welcomes beginners with patience and helps experienced practitioners refine their practice and move forward. Students can expect detailed alignment, intelligent use of props, and a steady emphasis on breath and awareness.
