Founder of The Body-Mind-Soul Centre, a Yoga Alliance School offering RYS 300 training, and the creator of Yin Yoga Therapy™, Alexandra Denkinger M.D.(Acu) is a devoted Body-Mind-Soul bio-hacker committed to helping people step into a more authentic and healthy way of living. Guided by a lifelong search for deeper meaning, she has traveled widely, learning from many healing systems and yoga traditions. Nearly two decades ago, she left her native Germany for India to immerse herself in ayurveda and yoga.
In her Yin Yoga teachings, Alexandra weaves together the ancient wisdom of acupuncture meridians and chi flow within a meditative yoga practice. Rooted in a Daoist and Zen approach, her work highlights the importance of breath, insight, and intuition, supporting a lifestyle that feels aligned with one’s deepest self. Alongside her teacher training courses, she also offers counseling sessions and a range of holistic treatments.
Her approach considers the whole person — environmental, emotional, and physical factors included — while making complex ideas from different healing systems easy to understand and apply in daily life. With practical guidance and encouragement, she invites people to feel healthy, vital, joyful, and free. Alexandra believes that the good life belongs to mind and soul, and that it is open to everyone. Energy flows where attention goes, and her mission is to help others live with authenticity, alignment, and liberation from convention.
