
Al Chambers holds an M.Ed. from the University of Victoria and a Diploma in Counselling from The Haven. With more than three decades of experience, he has worked as a therapist, group facilitator, and instructor across universities and colleges in Asia and Canada, supporting individuals, couples, teens, families, and groups.
For 13 years, Al practiced as a licensed psychologist in China and is now a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. He is also a trained trauma counsellor and leads Come Alive and other programs at The Haven in Canada and Asia.
His work has brought him into contact with people from many cultures and backgrounds, each with their own challenges, questions, and life experiences. Participants can expect a thoughtful, grounded presence and a depth of professional insight shaped by extensive cross-cultural experience.
