Certified as a yoga teacher in 2008, Akenara later traveled to India, where he spent more than two years immersed in a deeper spiritual path. For 14 months, he embraced the lifestyle of a Sannyasin under the guidance of Paramahansa Swami Niranjananda Saraswati at the Bihar School of Yoga, an experience that deeply shaped his approach to practice and teaching.
Since 2018, Akenara has shared his work internationally through workshops, retreats, and trainings in countries including Switzerland, France, and Spain. His teaching reflects both traditional roots and lived experience, creating space for students to explore yoga with sincerity, discipline, and inner awareness. Participants can expect a grounded, thoughtful approach that supports personal growth and a deeper connection to the practice.
