Ajay Malik is a certified yoga teacher with more than a decade of experience guiding students into the deeper layers of the practice. His path began with a personal search for balance and clarity, and it grew into a lasting commitment to sharing yoga as more than physical movement. Over time, he has developed a teaching style that weaves together mindful movement, precise alignment, and breath awareness with the spiritual and philosophical foundations of the tradition.
At Ameya, Ajay leads Philosophy of Yoga classes, inviting students to engage with the ancient teachings that support the practice. For him, philosophy is not abstract theory, but a living wisdom that can influence the way we move, think, and connect with the world around us. His sessions encourage reflection, dialogue, and self-inquiry, helping students relate traditional texts and principles to their own lived experience.
Ajay’s teaching is gentle, thoughtful, and deeply grounded in knowledge, humility, and compassion. He offers a welcoming space where practitioners of all levels can feel supported, recognized, and inspired to evolve, both in their practice and in their understanding of themselves.
Beyond the classroom, Ajay continues to study classical yogic texts alongside modern interpretations, seeing learning as a lifelong journey. When he is not teaching or studying, he enjoys hiking in the mountains, reading, and spending time with family and friends, bringing a sense of simplicity, balance, and gratitude into all that he shares.
