
Afa Wright’s path into yoga grew from a devoted spiritual and meditation practice, and that foundation continues to shape the way she teaches. She brings a thoughtful, holistic approach to every class, emphasizing the deep connection between a healthy mind and a healthy body. Trained classically in the Sivananda lineage, her teaching is rooted in all eight limbs of yoga and offers a well-rounded experience that supports both inner stillness and physical balance.
Each class includes pranayama, meditation, and a guided savasana, creating space for breath, reflection, and restoration. Afa remains committed to self-study through Svadhyaya and has recently completed her 300HR teacher training. Her background also includes Kids Yoga, pre- and post-natal yoga, and certification as a Yin Yoga instructor. In addition, she is a certified Reiki practitioner, bringing an added layer of healing presence to her work.
