My yoga journey began in the mid-1960s and has accompanied me ever since through every facet of this ancient practice. This spiritual path supported my studies in languages and journalism in Austria and Germany, gave me deep renewal in countless countries, and inspired my work as a journalist around the world. Intensive trainings in Germany, India, and Japan refined my understanding, while many further studies took me across Europe, North America, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia, where I continued to deepen my knowledge. Western body therapies enrich my teaching ideas, while naturopathic approaches strengthen trust in the body’s self-healing powers. Drawing on shamanic experiences, I developed Luna Yoga® in the early 1980s as a modern form of Hatha yoga. Since 1982, I have been teaching actively in different places.
The moon reflects the cycle of our lives and highlights the fertility of the exercises on every level. They awaken creative energy and conscious action. What fulfills me each day is the joy that shines through the practice in everyone.
For me, yoga means joy in life and careful care for health.
