About Adam Sommer
Astrology is one of the central ways Adam Sommer engages with life. Through playful language, thought-provoking podcast conversations, immersive classes, and meaningful readings, he aims to deepen each person’s experience of astrology. He has worked professionally for more than a decade with clients and students around the world. Trained and certified by Maurice Fernandez, President of OPA, Adam has built on that foundation by exploring many branches of astrology, including Jyotish, Evolutionary, Archetypal, and Traditional approaches. Rather than getting lost in the branches, he prefers to imagine himself sitting beneath the tree. By drawing from multiple traditions and applying these techniques to his own life and the lives of those he has worked with, he has arrived at what he calls “Kosmognosis”: a direct, living relationship with the cosmos that offers each person a unique form of wisdom. He hopes others can experience this through his work.
My Intention
Adam’s intention is to support you and the wider astrological community by helping share the message. For him, astrology is neither a joke nor simply a science, a language, or a New Age ego boost. It is a mythic map that reveals the many ways universal archetypes appear in our lives. It is not fixed, and in many ways it cannot be fully defined. He believes astrologers belong in the realm of poets. Across all his work with astrology, he has seen many things, but most importantly, he has learned how to use it for healing. His aim is to bring greater depth and a more magical context to your life, so you can move forward and live the life you were meant to live.
