We were so lucky to host a retreat at the stunning Ananda Lodge in July 2024 and....WOW. The pictures look beautiful, but they don't even begin to do justice to how incredible that piece of land is. What [the pictures] don't and can't possibly capture is the deep, powerful, and sacred energy of the property, which serves as a central part of the healing and transformation that happens there. All of this sounds like hyperbole, but I cannot say enough good things about this place and the people running it. Anyone would be fortunate indeed to get to host or attend a retreat at Ananda.

We would love to help you integrate plant medicine into your retreat if you desire. Please understand we only allow our CARE Team to administer plant medicine on our property to ensure everyone’s safety.

Our incredible property is just a short 6-minute drive from Playa Grande beach. Known as a renowned world-class surf destination, Ananda Lodge is a perfect choice for surf enthusiasts and those who cherish the beach and its natural beauty. Located near the bustling tourist town of Tamarindo, guests can enjoy shopping, dining, and cultural immersion experiences with a short car or boat ride, easily organized by our concierge. The international airport of Liberia is just 75 minutes away, making our destination easy to get to from many worldwide locations.
