




The YETI (Youth Engaged in Transformational Inquiry) is a 6-day high-elevation summer camp for youth ages 10–14, held at the Golden Trout Wilderness School near the base of Mt. Langley in the southern Sierra Nevada mountains.
This year’s theme centers on discovery through curiosity, attention, and wonder, with skills inspired by John Muir Laws Nature Journaling.
Camp activities and classes include Morning Mindfulness with stretching, listening exercises, meditation, and breathwork; Wilderness Adventure with daily hiking, scrambling, and exploration; Donkey 101, where campers learn to help care for the donkeys; daily art classes and creative time, including a journal requirement with both art and writing; Nature Journaling with reflection each day; and Wilderness Skills such as navigation games, whittling, knot tying, map reading, and more.
