This holistic, hands-on yoga teacher training is designed as an immersive journey of learning through direct experience. It invites you to step onto the mat with confidence, awareness, and trust in your own inner healing power, and to step back into daily life with self-love, compassion, and grace that naturally flows into your teaching.
Dini Martinez will guide you throughout the training, bringing twenty years of study, practice, and teaching in Yoga, Tantra, Ayurveda, and Vedic Astrology, alongside shamanic and indigenous traditions. An international retreat leader, Vedic lifestyle coach, and captain of a sailing boat she has called home for the past ten years, she lives there with her husband and three children. Her experience also includes work with prisoners in Australia, refugees in Malta, corporates on superyachts, and wellness professionals around the world.
3-23 Sep’23, Bocas del Toro, Panama
Study the history and philosophy of yoga while also learning to apply its core principles in everyday life, including yamas and niyamas such as ahimsa and svadyaya. The training also explores dharma and karma through classical yogic texts including the Bhagavad Gita and Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras.
Discover ayurveda, yoga’s medical sister science, and how it can shape the way you approach practice. You will also be introduced to Tantra, with its tools for working with kundalini and its shared aim of spiritual awakening, as well as an initial look at Vedic Astrology and planetary influences in yoga and life.
Broaden your understanding of yoga through Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Iyengar influences, Hatha, Slow Flow, Yin, and Acro, along with pre- and post-natal yoga. With a strong foundation, you will be supported in developing your own style and sequences.
Practice a range of breathwork and meditation techniques, together with subtle tools such as mudras and bandhas. As the body strengthens through practice, the mind learns stillness and the breath expands toward greater peace.
Learn the cultural roots of Sanskrit and its essential role in understanding the tradition from which yoga emerged and continues to be shaped.
Develop the knowledge needed to teach simple to advanced asanas with accuracy and awareness. Common poses are broken down step by step, with workshops that go deeper into backbends, inversions, and myofascial release.
Receive hands-on and verbal feedback as you practice adjusting yourself and others. You will also gain insight into Reiki, a particularly supportive technique for Yin and private classes.
Immerse yourself in the art of teaching, from intelligent sequencing and methodology to voice projection, reading students’ needs, and delivering a wide variety of classes in an authentic, professional way.
Explore the energetic layers of body, mind, and spirit through workshops on chakras, koshas, meridian systems, seasonal application, cleansing practices, and more.
To become an authentic teacher, deeper inner work is essential. You will have space to grow, release, cry, laugh, and fully immerse yourself through sharing circles, a solstice ceremony, kirtan, and an indigenous rebirthing ceremony.

With nearly 20 years devoted to yoga and more than 4,000 teaching hours, Dini is an experienced yoga teacher, Reiki practitioner, Ayurvedic consultant, passionate Tantrika, skilled doula, certified Vedic Astrologer, and international retreat leader. She speaks seven languages and brings a deep love of nature and music to everything she does.
Her teaching blends Vinyasa Flow and Yin Yoga into a style rooted in authenticity. She continues to deepen her practice through 10-day silent Vipassana meditation retreats, Yin immersions, Tantric trainings, shamanic ceremonies, ISTA work, anatomy workshops, and daily rituals on and off the mat.
Yoga gave Dini a home within herself after growing up across several countries and boarding schools. Her Vedic teachings have impacted people around the world, including refugees and prisoners, and influence the way she cooks, gardens, sails, mothers, relates, loves, and lives. She is passionate about sharing these ancient practices and multidisciplinary tools to help students reach their fullest potential and spread more light and love.
When she is not leading retreats or teacher trainings, she lives on a sailing boat with her three young children and Argentinean husband and sails the seven seas.
It is for you if you have been practicing yoga for some time and are ready to deepen both your practice and your understanding of this ancient philosophy. It is also for those willing to let go of what they think they know and step into what once felt impossible. You should be ready to cry, laugh, make mistakes, and build trust with others along the way.
It is not for those looking for a three-week holiday with a little yoga added in. The days are full and intense, and you will likely move beyond your comfort zone into a powerful field of transformation. If you are seeking only a quick 200-hour certificate without personal growth, this training is not the right fit.
Comfortable clothes, your own mat, block and strap if you have them, and mosquito spray.
If you attend all classes and workshops, do your best in the practice exams, and pass the final test, you will receive your teaching certificate and be able to teach around the world. If needed, you will have several chances and personal support.
This training offers the practice hours that many programs, especially online ones, do not. That means you will leave feeling knowledgeable, confident, and prepared to teach safely and with joy.
It is generally recommended to purchase travel insurance, ideally with a Covid clause.
Everyone is welcome, regardless of age, race, body type, vaccination status, or sexual orientation. We support bodily autonomy. The yoga practice, jungle environment, common-sense hygiene, and vegetarian or vegan meals throughout the program are all part of supporting natural strength. For current entry regulations to Panama, please check official sources or your airline.
You need two years of more or less regular practice, plus a commitment to practice at least three times a week in the six weeks leading up to the training.
We strongly recommend avoiding alcohol and other drugs throughout the training. Coffee should also be reduced to a minimum so you can experience your natural energy more clearly. In some tantric practices, certain plant medicines may be discussed, but during these three weeks the training remains focused on yoga, with local cacao in ceremony as the only exception.
A 20% deposit is required to secure your spot. The remaining balance is due 60 days before the training.
If you cancel before those 60 days, your deposit may be transferred to another training or retreat.
If cancellation occurs between 60 and 30 days before the retreat, the
