If you’re craving warmth, rest and a little more space to breathe, a few days at Valle de Vida could be just what you need. In June, I’ll be returning to this beautiful eco-retreat tucked away in the Andalucía Mountains, a peaceful place that offers an immediate sense of calm the moment you arrive.

Set across 18 acres of rolling hills, citrus groves, streams and waterfalls, Valle de Vida is just 40 minutes from Málaga airport, yet it feels wonderfully removed from everyday life. It’s an ideal setting to slow down, reconnect with yourself and enjoy a more nourishing rhythm.

Autumn Retreat

This 6-night retreat is open to everyone, from complete beginners to more experienced practitioners. The schedule offers a thoughtful balance of uplifting, energising sessions and deeply restorative practices, giving you time to move, breathe and settle into stillness.

Includes:

• Two group yoga classes per day with me: one uplifting solar practice in the morning and one gentler, restorative lunar practice in the late afternoon, including pranayama, meditation and deep relaxation (please note that the Yoga Platform, where some classes take place, is up a steep hill with incredible views and is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues)
• 1 yoga free day
• All yoga and meditation equipment
• Full board based on shared accommodation and shared bathrooms
• 3 meals per day, plus water, wine with the evening meal, tea/coffee, biscuits and fruit
• Pool, sauna, steam room and hydrotherapy pool
• Open-air poolside cinema night

Does not Include:

• Flights, airport transfers to and from the retreat (approximately 60 Euros return pp), 1 lunch out, additional drinks, excursions and treatments.

Accommodation

Main House Rooms

Comfortable shared rooms in the main farmhouse, with lovely views and easy access to all facilities. Shared bathrooms.

ME-Pods

These spacious, stylish wooden pods are set among almond and olive groves. Each pod includes tiled floors, electricity and cosy bedding, offering a close-to-nature stay without compromising on comfort.

The pods do not have private bathrooms; all accommodation uses shared bathrooms in both the main house and near the Pods.

A limited number of single rooms are available for a £25 per night supplement.

Optional Day Trip:

An optional day trip to one of the local attractions will be available at extra cost. Previous trips have included Málaga, Ronda, Ardales Lakes and The Caminito Del Rey.

How to Secure Your Place

The full-board price, including wine with dinner for 6 nights, is £1025. Because spaces are limited, a £200 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your place. A second deposit of £300 is due by the end of February, and the remaining balance must be paid by the end of April. If you’d like to spread the cost after the deposit, monthly payments can be arranged.

Flights/Arrival Times

Arrival is on Sunday evening for a late tapas-style dinner. Flights are available from Bournemouth or other airports. Please check before booking your flights.
