Take your practice to a deeper level, explore who you are, and open the door to meaningful personal change.
Yoga History & Philosophy
This module explores the history and philosophy of yoga while encouraging you to bring its core principles into everyday life. You will work with the yamas and niyamas, including ahimsa (non-violence) and svadyaya (self-study), and study ideas such as dharma and karma through classical yogic texts, including Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra.
Intro to Ayurveda
Discover ayurveda, yoga’s sister science, and how it can shape a more informed approach to practice. You will learn about your individual dosha, as well as the role of elements and tastes, and how these influence physical and psychological well-being through diet, yoga, and lifestyle.
Meditation & Pranayam
Practice a range of breathwork and meditation techniques, along with subtle tools such as mudras and bandhas to support your development. Just as the body must strengthen to hold certain poses, the mind needs training to find stillness and the breath to expand into peace. Some practices will be introduced at a foundational level, with the option to explore them more deeply in later immersions or teacher trainings.
Transformational Experiences
This is more than an intellectual study. While learning is part of the journey, the real focus is inner transformation through direct experience. You will be invited to grow, release, reflect, laugh, and cry through practices and shared moments that may include sharing circles, a moon ceremony, and kirtan.
Anatomy & Physiology
Build a safer and more accurate understanding of asanas, from simple to advanced, through the study of basic human anatomy and subtle body influences. Common poses will be broken down step by step, and dedicated workshops will take you further into backbends, inversions, and myofascial releases.
Yoga Styles
Deepen your knowledge of yoga’s many expressions through Vinyasa, Hatha, Slow Flow, Yin, and Acro, as well as pre- and post-natal yoga. Guest teachers will also introduce specialist approaches such as Iyengar, Ashtanga, Kundalini, and Yoga Therapy. With a strong foundation, you will gain the tools to create your own sequences and develop a personal style.
Chakras, Koshas & Cleansing
Explore different layers of energy and their influence on body, mind, and spirit. This training includes workshops on chakras, koshas, meridian systems and their seasonal application, an introduction to nadis, and other aspects of the Vedic energetic system.
