Important information
Group size: Maximum 18 participants.
Accommodation
You will spend the week in our comfortable “Pearl of the North Apartments” in Akureyri. The apartments offer plenty of comfort and direct access to your hot tub. Each unit includes 2-3 rooms for 3-5 participants, with a shared bathroom. A fully equipped kitchen, a living room with TV and Netflix, and a well-equipped laundry room with dryer are available for your use. The apartments are normally arranged as double rooms. Subject to availability, a single room booking is also possible for an additional fee. Participants sharing a bedroom may request a private bathroom upgrade for an extra charge.
Yoga
Daily yoga sessions are led by Ulrica Seiler and take place at our Yoga & SPA center. Each session lasts 2-3 hours. If the weather allows, short outdoor yoga sessions of around 20-30 minutes are also planned, offering a direct way to connect with Iceland’s natural surroundings.
Winter snowshoe hike
Discover the breathtaking and varied landscapes of North Iceland on snowshoes. The tours last between 1 and 3 hours and are technically easy. A qualified guide accompanies each excursion.
Autumn hikes
In autumn, the hikes lead through the diverse scenery of North Iceland. Tour durations range from 1.5 to 3 hours and are also technically easy. An experienced guide accompanies all hikes.
Meals
Breakfast can be prepared easily in the well-equipped kitchen of your apartment. For the Mývatn excursion, we recommend bringing a packed lunch. Organized meals take place in special locations. Except on arrival day and during the Mývatn trip, you will prepare your own dinner in your kitchen or enjoy the culinary variety of a nearby restaurant.
Transport
Transport is included. We will pick you up at the Akureyri bus station or airport and handle transfers between the accommodation and the yoga studio, as well as all excursions. On departure day, we are happy to take you to a location of your choice in Akureyri. On arrival day, pickup from the local airport is scheduled for 16:15.
