Alongside yoga training, the program includes additional workshops on topics such as Ayurveda and cooking, adding variety and depth to your learning. Accommodation is provided on a twin-sharing basis for one month, offering a peaceful and comfortable stay throughout the course. During your time here, you will also have the opportunity to experience traditional Ayurvedic treatments that complement your yoga practice and create a fully holistic wellness experience.
Classes are kept small, with a maximum of 10 participants, allowing for personalized attention and high-quality training. The schedule runs from 6 am to 7:30 pm, with 6 hours of lessons on weekdays and 2 hours of yoga classes on Saturdays. Workshops on Ayurveda and cooking further enrich the overall experience.

The course is guided by experienced yoga teachers with more than 35 years of combined expertise. Mr. Vinod Rajan, the lead yoga instructor, has devoted his life to the study of yoga and has taught in Europe and Southeast Asia.
Vinod believes the true benefits of yoga come from connecting with one’s authentic self. His depth of knowledge makes the classes meaningful for practitioners of all levels. Introduction to Yoga Philosophy
Explore the Yoga Darshana of Patanjali and key concepts such as Chitta, Chitta Bhumis, Chitta Vrittis, and Niropdhopaya. You will also study Samadhi, Sadhana, Vibhuti, and Kaivalya, important stages on the path to self-realization.
Yogic Anatomy & Physiology
This section covers Chakras, Koshas, Pranas, Nadis, and the Vayus, helping you understand how these elements influence health and well-being. It also includes yoga and common ailments, psychological benefits, and yogic techniques for cleansing the body.
Yoga Therapy: Healing with Yoga
Discover how yoga therapy can support healing for both physical and mental concerns. The course includes daily pranayama for 30 minutes and a range of breathing practices such as Kapalbhati, Nadi Shodhana, Bhastrika, Bhramari, Ujjai, Shitali, Shithkaari, and Nada pranayama.
Meditation - 30 mins every day
Practice mantra meditation, breath watching meditation, visualisation meditation, body scan meditation, walking meditation, and chakra awareness meditation.
Asanas: Seated, backward bending, forward bending, twisting, inverted, and balancing postures, with a minimum of 40 asanas, plus Surya Namaskar variations including Kalari Namaskaram. Each asana is covered in detail, including warm-up, breathing, variations, modifications, chakra awareness, benefits, injury prevention, energy movement, and Tridosha balance.

Chamundi Hill Palace is a peaceful sanctuary for yoga and Ayurveda, with classes held on the same premises as the renowned Ayurvedic center. Nestled quietly on the Nadukani hills, the campus offers beautiful views, lush greenery, medicinal plants, and vibrant flora. Its calm atmosphere creates the ideal setting for an intensive yoga journey, and even a spice garden visit can be arranged within the grounds.
Participants stay in a new villa with 5 ensuite double bedrooms. Rooms are shared with one other student, but the space and facilities are more comfortable than a typical hostel or ashram. The villa is located just 250 metres from the yoga class and dining area. You will also be informed in advance about your roommate, with contact details shared so you can connect beforehand.
Three wholesome Keralan vegetarian meals are served each day, along with morning and evening tea/coffee. Ayurvedic herbal water is available throughout the day. Meals are enjoyed at a common dining table, offering a relaxed opportunity to connect with classmates and other guests at the center.
The location invites quiet reflection, and many guests spend much of the day enjoying the surrounding nature. Walking trails are available nearby, with a detailed map to help you choose. The center also organizes local visits for yoga students. On weekends, you may take day trips to Alleppey, Kumarakom, Kuttikanam, or Periyar.

Payment: 50% of the fees in advance for confirmation. The remaining balance is payable in cash upon check-in.
Further studies: a one-month Yoga Teacher Training Course will be announced soon, and successful completion of this course is the only admission requirement.
Anyone interested in learning Hatha yoga may apply, including beginners. A basic level of fitness is helpful, but not essential. The course is not limited to asana practice; it also offers a deeper understanding of yoga, including correct forms, postures, and the process of progressing into them. With regular practice and dedication, flexibility and strength may improve over time.
Check-in is on 16 July and check-out is on 16 August. Yoga mats and a pair of cotton T-shirts suitable for practice are provided. Each student also receives one complimentary Ayurvedic massage. Please bring a notebook and pens.
No refunds are given for missed classes or days. The center is a non-alcoholic, non-smoking, and drug-free campus, and this policy is strictly enforced. Free WiFi is available. The nearest airport is Kochi (COK), which is well connected by major international airlines, and visa on arrival with an e-Visa is permitted for international arrivals at Kochi airport. The center can assist with organizing day trips and weekend trips.
