Description

Lama Tsultrim presents this renowned and distinctive retreat, created to weave transformational personal work into the sacred container of spiritual practice. Designed as a deeply experiential journey, the program brings together meditation, art, mask making, sound, and movement in a rich and embodied format.

At the heart of the retreat is practice with Simhamukha, the Lion-headed Dakini. Participants will receive an introduction to the practice and transmission, then spend focused time with each of the five Dakini families, working to transform obstructed and negative patterns into their corresponding wisdom energy. The retreat concludes by returning to each family and sharing a tsog.

In place of a Magyu Gathering, members of the Magyu lineage are invited to join this program as an opportunity to come together on the land. Lama Tsultrim and Dorje Lopön Charlotte will also offer Q&A sessions and a council circle for Magyu members.

Who Can Attend?

This program is open to all, with no prerequisites required. Familiarity with the Five Dakini Families and Dakini Mandala practice may be supportive, but it is not necessary. The Journey into the Mandala of the Empowered Feminine Self Paced Program is available for those who would like additional background.

This retreat is required for the Magyu Mother Lineage Program.

What to Bring

Please bring implements for the practice of Simhamukha, including a bell and vajra, as well as a small practice damaru if these are part of your personal practice. These items are available through the Dakini Store. It is not required to have both implements when arriving, though they will eventually be needed in order to complete the full practice.

Entering into Solo Retreat

Magyu practitioners are warmly invited to consider this gathering as a gateway into solitary retreat after the program ends. Those interested in reserving a retreat cabin for solo retreat may do so through the relevant retreat page.
