This retreat explores Taoist Internal Alchemy and Qigong, and also offers an introduction and overview of the Taoist Healing Love practice.
Taoist Internal Alchemy, Qigong, and Healing Love are rooted in traditional Chinese Taoist philosophy and holistic wellness. Together, these ancient practices are designed to cultivate and harmonise vital energy, support physical and mental well-being, and encourage spiritual development.
Also known as Neidan or Nei Dan, Taoist Internal Alchemy is a traditional practice focused on refining inner energy, or life force, within the body. It uses meditation, breathwork, and visualisation to purify and transform the Three Treasures: Jing (essence), Qi (energy), and Shen (spirit). The aim is to support longevity, health, and spiritual enlightenment.
Qigong, or Chi Kung, is a holistic system that combines body postures, movement, breath control, and meditation to cultivate and balance Qi, the vital life energy. Through slow, intentional movement, steady breathing, and focused awareness, practitioners may experience benefits such as reduced stress, improved balance, and greater vitality.
Healing Love is a branch of Taoist Inner Alchemy linked to sexual energy cultivation, with an emphasis on transforming sexual energy for health and spiritual growth. The practice includes specific techniques for circulating and refining this energy within the body, helping to balance the forces of Yin and Yang. These methods are intended to support overall health, vitality, and longevity.
