For more than 20 years, Michaela has guided sweatlodge ceremonies. If you would like to arrange a ceremony for your own group and intention, you are welcome to get in touch. She leads each gathering with love and passion.
The sweatlodge ceremony is an ancient purification ritual found in many Indigenous cultures, with the best-known traditions perhaps coming from Native North American peoples.
The tradition Michaela shares is rooted in the Chippewa-Cree lineage and was passed on to her by Native Elder Ron Evans. It has been experienced as a warm blanket of support and presence.
A yearly, magical tribal sweatlodge gathering with Michaela, Janis, Rosanne, and Arne, including 4 sweatlodge ceremonies.
A yearly 3-day sweatlodge retreat to soothe the soul, where women come together in sacredness and co-create magic.
Sweat's magic
In this training, Michaela will guide and inspire you to feel the sacred relationship between water and fire, and to deeply respect our Source.
These are the blessings of an ancient tradition that has been passed on to her, meant to be kept alive in a good way, in a healing way, for many more generations to come.
To keep the pathway clean, the prayer alive, and the sacred fires burning for those who seek.
If you feel called to learn, exchange, make a change, and deepen your path around the sweatlodge ceremony and the Sacred Fire, you are warmly welcome in the circle.

You should seek harmony in everything you do.
Feel embraced in the sweatlodge.
Sacred space.
Time for healing, prayer, blessings, songs, and gratitude.
Where the stones are our Grandfather and the water our Grandmother.
They come together in sacred love to hold us in healing steam.
The scent of evergreen surrounds the space.
Welcome in the circle.
A sweatlodge day
We gather around 11:00 with tea or water and some snacks, then meet in the ceremony room to connect, introduce ourselves, and prepare to enter this sacred space. After that, we go outside to build the sweatlodge and fire place, and the firekeeper lights the fire.
Once the fire is lit, we prepare the dining room for the feast meal afterward. When everything is ready, we enter a meditative state, connect with the sacred fire, and wait until the grandfathers call us in.
4 rounds
The sweatlodge consists of four rounds. Between rounds, you may step outside for fresh air if you wish. This ceremony is meant to help you melt, not suffer. The warmth supports the process of releasing what no longer serves you. You may ask for healing and for changes in your life that help you become more whole.
It is also a time to give thanks for all that you receive. You may sing from the heart, become one with all, and enter the world reborn.
After the ceremony
After the ceremony, you may remain outside to rest, cool down, and refresh yourself with the waters of life, then go inside for a shower if you wish. Honor the new and enjoy a nourishing feast meal brought by everyone. Then comes the mighty dishwashing ceremony, cleaning everything up before we part… until we meet again.
If you wish to stay extra nights before or after the ceremony, these can be booked separately.
