Revive and Rejuvenate
Set on the banks of the River Thames, this spring retreat offers a restorative escape designed to renew body, mind, and spirit. Returning for its sixth year, one of the most beloved retreats welcomes guests once again in 2026.
Through a carefully curated blend of ancient and contemporary cleansing practices, this intimate gathering invites you to release stress and strain and reconnect with the clarity of your inner nature.
Across the weekend, you will have the rare opportunity to take part in a traditional sweat lodge ceremony held in a specially designed sacred hazel pole dome. Led by experienced facilitators with chanting and shamanic drumming, this transformative practice unfolds in the beautiful landscape of the Thames Valley.
This retreat is created for those seeking to clear away what no longer serves them and open the door to lasting serenity. Supported by the cleansing force of fire and the ceremonial strength of the sweat lodge, you are invited to let go, reflect on the patterns shaping your unique Ayurvedic constitution, and discover how to meet them through meditation for deeper inner peace. Leave with a renewed outlook and a stronger sense of grounding as summer approaches.
You can also look forward to revitalising yoga practices and wild swimming in the shimmering river waters. Guided meditation among ancient trees, along with mindful journeying through the intuitive use of words, will help you reconnect with your divine nature. The resonance of spirit mantra will restore and replenish you, while storytelling and singing around the campfire offer the warmth of shared community.
This is an invitation to attune yourself to natureβs rhythm and remember the natural self that is whole, healed, and well.

Sweat Lodge Ceremony
The lodge during the retreat will be hosted by Buzzard Medicine.
It is an honour to share this sacred ceremony in such beautiful organic surroundings. The lodge invites participants to gather in circle to honour our ancestors, Mother Earth, the sacred fire, Grandfather rocks, water, and air, bringing these elements together in a powerful cleansing medicine.
This traditional lodge is built from bent hazel poles, smudged and blessed, then covered with blankets and insulated to form a dome. Heated stones are carried in from a wood fire, and herbs and water are added to release an aromatic cleansing vapour. Participants move through several cycles of sweating and chanting, with time to rest and cool down between each round.
For many, the lodge carries strong purification and transformative power, so please allow time afterwards for integration. It is a powerful space for prayers and healing.
