Description

Why choose a Sound Bath?

When was the last time you truly rested so deeply that your nervous system softened, your thoughts quieted, and your body could finally let go?

So much of daily life is spent doing, thinking, and keeping up. Sound invites you to step out of that mode. There is nothing to achieve, nothing to fix, and nothing to change. You are simply held by the experience.

A Sound Bath creates space for deep regeneration. The vibrations of singing bowls gently support body and mind, calm the nervous system, and guide you back to your center.

It is a moment to receive, to reconnect, and to meet yourself in stillness.

The experience

During my Sound Bath sessions, you lie comfortably on a soft mat, wrapped in a warm blanket. Gentle sounds from singing bowls, Koshi chimes, and other instruments fill the room and lead you into profound relaxation.

Without needing to do anything, you are invited to listen, receive, and simply be.

The benefits

A Sound Bath has a calming effect on the body, mind, and nervous system. The harmonious tones help release stress, ease tension, and support a deep state of rest. Thoughts become quieter, and the body is given permission to settle.

This practice invites you to let go, restore your energy, and reconnect with yourself in a conscious way.

Group Sound Bath

"Held by sound and the energy of the group."

In a group Sound Bath, you enter a shared field of deep relaxation and vibration together with others. Sounds from singing bowls, Koshi chimes, and additional instruments create gentle waves that help bring body, mind, and soul into harmony.

The vibrations are said to work on a cellular level, support circulation, and calm the nervous system. Blockages may soften, and the mind can settle into stillness.

This experience can help reduce stress, awaken your self-healing abilities, and leave you feeling connected, centered, and grounded.

Each session is unique and shaped by the energy of the group.

Contribution: 50.- (1 hour)

Frequently asked questions

What can I expect during a Sound Bath session?

You lie comfortably on a mat and are surrounded by harmonious sounds. Singing bowls, Koshi chimes, and other instruments create vibrations that move through the body and guide you into a deep state of relaxation.

During the session, you are invited to listen and let go. Thoughts become quieter, the body can relax, and the nervous system may return to a more balanced state.

Every experience is individual, and whatever arises is welcome. After the Sound Bath, there is a quiet moment to reflect and integrate before you gently return to the room.

How should I prepare for a Sound Bath session?

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely and relax with ease.

Ideally, avoid eating anything heavy for about two hours beforehand so your body can fully settle into rest and receive the sounds.

Most importantly, bring openness, curiosity, and a willingness to simply receive. There is nothing to do and nothing to perform — you are welcome exactly as you are.

Who is a Sound Bath suitable for?

A Sound Bath is suitable if you are looking for deep relaxation, want to slow down, and wish to give your nervous system a pause. It offers a gentle way to step out of thinking and return more fully to the body.

The sounds support stress release, calm inner restlessness, and invite you into a meditative state. Thoughts may soften while the body naturally begins to regenerate.

This experience is especially supportive for anyone seeking relaxation, inner balance, and a protected space to recharge — with no active effort, no prior experience, and no pressure to perform.

Notes & contraindications for Sound Bath

Although a Sound Bath offers many benefits, it is not suitable for everyone. For safety reasons, people with the following conditions should not participate in my Sound Bath sessions:

  • Severe heart and circulatory conditions
  • Pacemaker
  • Recent or major heart surgery (e.g. bypass, heart valve replacement)
  • Borderline personality disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
  • Epilepsy or seizure disorders
  • Pregnancy
  • Mental health conditions such as schizophrenia or severe anxiety disorders

If you are unsure, please contact me.

Do I need any prior experience for a Sound Bath session?

No prior experience is needed. You do not need to know anything, achieve anything, or follow any technique. You simply lie down and allow the sounds to wash over you.

A Sound Bath is just as suitable for beginners as it is for people with meditation experience.

All you need to bring is openness and the willingness to give yourself time.

Is there coverage by health insurance?

As a rule, Sound Bath sessions are currently not covered by statutory health insurance.

In some cases, supplementary insurance may contribute to the cost, depending on the provider and policy. It is worth checking directly with your insurance company.

Sound Bath is intended as a supportive, holistic offering for relaxation, regeneration, and self-awareness, and it does not replace medical or therapeutic treatment.
