Somatic Yin Yoga Fundamentals offers a grounded introduction to the core principles of Yin Yoga, explored through a contemporary, integrative approach that connects functional anatomy, somatic awareness, and fascia intelligence.
A Foundational Training in Yin Yoga, Somatic Awareness & Fascia Intelligence
This training begins with a clear study of Yin Yoga fundamentals, including target areas, functional alignment, and the purpose and benefits of each posture. From there, the work expands into somatic awareness — the ability to sense, feel, and respond from within — so the practice becomes a lived, embodied experience rather than a static shape.
Fascia is presented as a dynamic, responsive network that shapes mobility, perception, and internal communication. Through long holds, subtle movement, and conscious stillness, participants discover how the body can adapt, soften, and reorganize from the inside out.
The meridian system and the philosophy of Traditional Chinese Medicine are also introduced as a complementary layer, providing insight into the energetic body and its relationship to Yin practice without defining the whole of it.
At the center of the training is Somatic Yin: a refined approach that brings together the structural foundations of Yin Yoga with the intelligence of the sensing body. Here, Yin is not passive, but an active conversation with sensation, breath, and internal rhythm.
Combining theory with direct experience, the program integrates Yin Yoga, somatic movement, and fascia-based awareness, creating a strong foundation for teaching as well as a meaningful pathway for personal practice.
Accessible, precise, and deeply experiential, this training lays the groundwork for more advanced somatic and Yin explorations to develop.
