An immersive five-day retreat into the internal art of Shaolin White Crane, this experience invites you to step into a quieter rhythm and explore movement as a path inward.
At the center of the practice is Shuang Yang Pei Ho Rou Rouan Chien — “Sun Frost White Crane Soft and Gentle Art.” Rare and refined, this subtle system transforms movement into a way of listening more deeply to yourself.
Each sequence encourages you to slow down, breathe with greater awareness, and reconnect with body, mind, and breath as one living whole. As the breath deepens, the body gradually opens, tension begins to soften, and a calm, natural strength rises from within.
Gentle in expression, yet profoundly transformative, this retreat creates space to step away from distraction, sharpen perception, and rediscover the body’s natural sensitivity.
Shuang Yang Pei Ho Rou Rouan Chien, or “Sun Frost White Crane Soft and Gentle Art,” is an internal Shaolin White Crane form made up of sixty-six movements.
It functions as:
Each movement becomes a focal point for breath, body, and mind. As breath is guided through the whole body, the practice supports the internal systems, including the organs and the brain. Over time, the body opens in a systematic way with the breath: joints release, tissues soften, and the circulation of blood and energy increases.
This process supports:
At the same time, the mind learns to rest on each part of the body, becoming more focused, spacious, and aware. Flexible body, flexible mind.
During the retreat, a selected part of the form will be explored in depth, allowing time to move beyond surface technique and into direct internal experience.
Each day is designed to support both learning and integration.
