Sacred Passage takes place in Baja California, Mexico, from January 29 to February 10, 2026, inviting participants into a deeply immersive journey of inner exploration, nature connection, and awareness refinement. Guided by Way of Nature Senior Guide Brad Michael Kahland, the retreat offers a unique synthesis of Awareness Training, Energy Cultivation, and shamanic connection with Nature, all set against the striking landscapes of the Baja Peninsula and the wild beaches of the Pacific coast.
Reset & Healing
This experience is designed to support profound connection with Source Awareness, Inner and Outer Nature, and the Elements, helping to activate self-healing and release blockages.
Deepen Connection to Outer Nature
Way of Nature holds a path devoted to healing our human relationship with Nature and Gaia, encouraging a more intimate and respectful way of being in the world.
Source Awareness & Liberation
Participants will strengthen and refine their senses through training in the 9 Perceptual Fields of Awareness and through deepening experiential connection.
The Sacred Passage retreat includes the full WoN Process, beginning with Source Awareness Training. This preparation supports your 7-day AllOne time nature solo and helps with reintegration afterward. The program is designed to guide you into deep relaxation while cultivating a powerful state of Presence. Its teachings are grounded in WoN’s Twelve Guiding Principles of Natural Liberation, offering a direct path to Source Awareness that honors the essence of the world’s great liberating traditions. Each morning begins with Qigong and Gaia Flow, practices intended to release blockages held in the mind and body and bring you into a unified state with what surrounds you.
AllOne Time Solo
AllOne time offers the opportunity to integrate the Awareness Training practices through solitude in wild Nature. From secluded beach or hillside sites overlooking the expansive Pacific Ocean, participants may share space with whales, dolphins, and seabirds, while sunlight and ocean breezes create a deeply expansive setting. Sunsets from these remote beaches are described as extraordinary, with open skies and the vastness of sea and light supporting a sense of heart-opening spaciousness.

This original work contains essential teachings, meditations, and teaching stories.

Travel & Accommodations
This year’s Baja program is hosted near La Paz and on the wild beaches of the Pacific Ocean coast. Travelers arriving from outside the U.S. are advised to fly into La Paz Airport (LAP), with taxi and Uber service available into the city. Those flying from the U.S. may find it easiest to arrive via Los Cabos Airport (SJD) and continue with the 3-hour bus shuttle. Private group shuttles may also be arranged. Ground transportation to La Duna for January 29 can be recommended, and support is available for coordinating transport and accommodations at La Duna.
La Duna accommodations are available for the nights of Jan 29, 30, 31, and again Feb 7 and 8. For Feb 9, participants will book preferred accommodations in La Paz, where the group will further integrate the Sacred Passage experience, share a final dinner, and enjoy time in the historic streets and by the light blue sea of the Gulf of California.
At La Duna, guests may choose a single private casita, a double occupancy casita, or a tent site. All accommodations include access to hot showers and compost toilets in a separate building. Those over 72 inches in height should request a larger bed or tent site. Meals are included with accommodations.
Single Occupancy - $115 / day with meals x 5 nights ($575)
Double Occupancy - $83 / day / person with meals x 5 nights ($415)
Tenting Site - $76 / day with meals x 5 nights ($380)
Safety & Guidelines During ALLOne Solo Time
Participant safety and well-being are a top priority. The Passage is considered as safe as a camping trip, supported by a specially designed buddy system with daily checkpoints so participants, fellow Passagers, and the Guide can confirm everyone’s safety while honoring solitude. A whistle call brings an adjoining Passager to your site within minutes.
During AllOne Time solo, electronics and campfires are not permitted. Reading and writing are limited to notes from the Awareness Training and the books Cultivating Natural Liberation and Sky Above, Earth Below by John P. Milton. Participants may eat simple, preferably organic foods of their choice and enjoy the comfort of their own tent. This simplicity is considered an essential part of the experience, allowing true essence to emerge and the Qi gathered from Gaia to permeate the body without distraction.
What’s Included In Cost?
All teaching and logistical support for the training and solo days is included in the program fee. Airport transfer options are available upon request. Room accommodations and meals are additional, and some meals will be enjoyed at local restaurants to experience the surrounding area.
