Since falling in love may come naturally, sustaining love is a different skill altogether. This workshop is devoted to the art and discipline of keeping love alive, beginning with a simple but powerful practice: learning to appreciate your partner so specifically and so often that they feel fully seen and deeply loved.
From there, you will explore how to receive your partner’s criticism without becoming defensive. The goal is to replace the familiar sense of “walking on eggshells” with a new emotional framework, where criticism can be experienced as an invitation to greater closeness rather than a threat. In turn, this helps your partner feel safer expressing concerns honestly.
Designed as an evolution beyond active listening, this approach goes further than helping the speaker feel heard. It also teaches the listener how to respond in a way that supports emotional safety on both sides. After all, when the person receiving criticism does not feel safe, the person sharing the concern cannot feel safe either.
You will learn a series of practices that can be brought into everyday life:
To support your practice after the workshop, free ongoing group follow-up calls are offered to help resolve obstacles along the way. If you would like to revisit the insights and exercises later, there is also an option to purchase the Zoom and book version of the course.
This workshop is open to couples of all genders and sexual orientations. Developed over the past 30 years, it is also used by many health professionals in their work with clients and patients.
