This workshop offers a harmonious blend of music, rhythm, history, dance, and a touch of magic.

Join us on a journey into the world of Greek sounds.

Over the course of the week, we will explore Greek music history, move through Greek rhythms, dance Sirtaki (which is not actually called that), and sing with Eastern influences.

We will guide you through a week-long experience in southern Pelion, into the world of rhythm and rembetiko:

You will learn:

• How to sing Greek songs
• Why 90% of all Greek songs are in a minor key
• The roots of Eastern sounds
• How rembetiko came into being
• Why Sirtaki does not even exist
• The 4 most important dances to prepare you for any Greek festival
• And, most importantly, what rhythm and rembetiko can open within you:
• Your soul will travel with us into the freedom of the Greek spirit. It will experience the sweetness of melancholic music and enter a world without time limits, train schedules, expectations, or the pressure of performance.

South Pelion is one of the few places in Greece that has remained rustic, with mass tourism still absent. People here have time to talk and cook. In Greek mythology, it was the place where the gods spent their holidays and where centaurs chased beautiful young girls.
