Pricing and availability
All prices are listed in USD. Pricing is per person, except for the Private Double Suite, which is priced for 2 guests. This program is limited to 18 spaces only, and no additional guests can be added.
Lodging options
Our Private Eco-Tambos are ideal for guests seeking privacy and a more economical stay. These charming wooden huts are set on a hillside in Costa Rica’s tropical forest, near the Maloca ceremonial space and common areas. Each Tambo includes a private balcony and a spacious interior, with shared bathrooms and showers. They are located beneath the forest canopy and do not have A/C. If you are sensitive to heat, we recommend choosing a different lodging option between February and May, the hottest months of the year.
For solo travelers who value space and privacy, our private single suites offer a king-size bed and beautiful views of the Gulf of Nicoya. From here, you can unwind in comfort while taking in the scenery of three islands and sunrise over the water.
Our premium suite sits at the highest point on the property and overlooks the forest canopy with sweeping 270-degree views of the mountains, Gulf of Nicoya, and tropical forest. With more space than our regular private suites, it includes indoor and outdoor seating areas, along with room for yoga and meditation to support integration. Wake to sunrise over the Gulf and watch the surrounding forest glow gold in the morning light. Designed for singles and couples who want spaciousness and privacy, this luxury suite features a king-size bed and Soltara’s best views.
Shared double suites accommodate up to 2 guests of the same gender, with roommates assigned accordingly. If two people are booking together, please select the Private Double Suite option to stay together. Intake and booking process
After reviewing your form, our intake support team may confirm your registration, request additional details, schedule an intake call, or let you know if this retreat is not the right fit at this time. If that happens, your deposit will be refunded. If you are confirmed, you will receive a “Registration Confirmed” email with next steps and preparation information.

Payments and policies
Deposits are non-refundable, except in the case of known medical issues identified during intake screening that are considered unsafe to combine with ayahuasca ceremony. Deposits may be transferred to future retreats according to the terms provided. Payments do not include the cost of plant medicine.
If you choose the deposit option, a $2,500 deposit per person is required electronically to secure your space. The remaining balance is due electronically before the retreat, with the final $500 paid on arrival in USD cash. Crisp, like-new bills are preferred, as older notes are difficult to exchange. This helps support our on-site operations and is greatly appreciated when possible.
Donations are completely optional and received with gratitude. All donations support our scholarship programs, Reciprocity Fund, and eco-initiatives, helping fund Indigenous reciprocity, Amazon and ayahuasca conservation, environmental protection, and scholarships for guests who are ready to work with us but do not yet have the financial means.
