For couples who have lived through real life together and are ready for something deeper
You already know the shape of your life together. The home you’ve built. The children, or the season after them. The routines, the private shorthand, the years of shared history.
And yet, beneath the familiarity, there may be a quieter truth: you’ve been moving on autopilot. The version of “us” that carried you through the demanding years may no longer fit what comes next. This relationship is ready to evolve — beyond comfort, beyond habit, and back into something more alive.
You are not in crisis. There is still respect, care, and a clear understanding of what you’ve created together. But you also know, with the honesty that time brings, that love alone is not the question. What matters now is rediscovery, connection, and intentional time invested in each other.
This retreat is an invitation to return.
Four days of focused partnership work for couples who want more than “fine.”
This is not a wellness getaway, and it is not a spa weekend with a workshop added on. It is a working retreat with structure, depth, and guided practices designed for intentional reconnection and intimacy.
It is also not couples therapy. It is not intended for relationships in active crisis, and it is not designed to repair something that feels broken. If that is where you are, this retreat is not the right fit.
It is for couples with the emotional capacity to go further — couples who want to:
Four couples. Four days. One facilitator. A luxury mountain home in Winter Park.
An honest inventory. Not “what’s wrong,” but “what’s true.” Where has autopilot taken over? What have you stopped asking each other? What have you been managing instead of feeling?
This is not about blame or shame. It is about naming what is working, what has been neglected, and where growth is possible. It creates a shared language for what has, until now, remained unspoken.
The stories, patterns, and inherited scripts each partner brings into the relationship — the individual work that shapes the shared load. What roles have you each adopted that no longer fit? What language and behaviors have become familiar between you, but no longer serve you?
Here, hypnotherapy and somatic breathwork open space that conversation alone may not reach.
The nervous system of the partnership. How you regulate together, how you rupture, and how you repair. What behaviors, words, and triggers are feeding the silence? What quiet resentment has built over years of repetition? What hurts remain unrepaired? And where is your time actually going?
Equine-assisted work, value mapping, and energy practices are part of this territory.
The intentional future. Not vague hopes, but specific practices, agreements, and rhythms you’ll bring home. What does the next chapter of this partnership truly look like, and what will you protect to make it real? What escape patterns and self-soothing habits need to change? What can you honestly commit to — without resentment?
You’ll leave with a written action plan, supported by a virtual follow-up with Allison after you return home.
Across four days, you’ll move through the four territories that shape every long-term relationship, held through guided practice, somatic work, partner exercises, and space for integration.
One of the most common things couples say after a retreat is: “It was beautiful, and then we came home and life took over, and within a month it felt like nothing had changed.”
That is not a failure of the retreat. It is a failure of what surrounds it. Deep work needs preparation before and integration after, or it remains a memory instead of becoming part of who you are.
This retreat is designed as a 6-week journey, not just a four-day event.
Two weeks before the retreat — Individual Couple Preparation Call (30 minutes)
A private video call with just the two of you and Allison. You’ll review your pre-work, identify any specific territory you want held during the retreat, and cover logistical questions. You arrive in Winter Park already seen and known.
The Retreat — Four Days in Winter Park
Thursday afternoon through Sunday morning. This is the core of the journey.
Two weeks after the retreat — Individual Couple Integration Call (60 minutes)
A private video call with just the two of you and Allison. This is where the retreat begins to meet real life. What is landing? What feels harder than expected? What practice needs to stay alive? This is the call that helps turn insight into lasting change.
Six weeks after the retreat — Group Reunion Circle (90 minutes)
All four couples reconnect on video call. By then, you will have had six weeks to live with the work. You’ll hear how the other couples are integrating their experience and share your own. This is not just a reunion — it is the accountability structure that keeps the work alive well beyond the ninety-day mark.
That is what sets this retreat apart. Most retreats end at Sunday morning checkout. This one is designed to keep shaping your relationship six weeks later — and beyond.

Retreat Lead & Founder, Ascending Spirit Wellness
Allison is a mother of three, currently in a 16-year relationship, and has spent most of her adult life in long-term relationships — with all the joys, edges, and questions they bring.
She brings two decades of leadership experience and a committed wellness practice to this work. She is a NAMA-certified Ayurveda health counselor, an 800-hour yoga teacher, and a certified sound healer. She holds this retreat with the belief that long-term love is not automatic — it is a practice, and it deserves real space, devoted time, and honest recognition of what is versus what is unspoken.
Her role during the weekend is to lead every session, hold the arc of the four days, and create the container for the work couples came to do.
