A yoga retreat to restore, awaken, and reconnect.
Feeling drained and ready for a reset? Spend six days in sacred ancient lands, where movement, breath, and meditation support a deep energetic reboot.
In one of the most revered places in the Americas, this retreat invites you to release what has been holding you back and step into a renewed sense of vitality. The warmth of Mayan hospitality, combined with the magical setting of Lake Atitlan, creates space for joy, adventure, and aliveness to return. Whether you see life as divine or not, you are shaping your reality in every moment.
Villa Sumaya, our beautiful retreat center in Santa Cruz la Laguna, sits directly on the shores of Lake Atitlan. The natural beauty of the landscape flows through the open yoga shala, swimming docks, nearby walking trails, hot tub, sauna, spa, and each individually styled ensuite room. The team is devoted to holistic wellness practices, healing modalities, and the preservation of Mayan traditions.
11-17th June, Guatemala
Each morning begins with an energizing vinyasa flow, pranayam, and meditation session. After a nourishing vegetarian breakfast, a custom workshop explores different aspects of yoga through both theory and practice. You will work with movement, breathwork, and various forms of mindfulness in a way that welcomes complete beginners as well as experienced practitioners.
After a wholesome lunch, the afternoons are yours to enjoy at your own pace. You may relax or choose from optional excursions and activities around Lake Atitlan, including hiking, kayaking, or visiting a nearby village. Before a delicious plant-based dinner, you can also enjoy Yin Yoga, Acro Yoga, or Yoga Nidra—each designed to invite ease, joy, and presence into body, mind, and spirit.
On two evenings, special ceremonies will be offered to help clear away mental clutter and connect more directly with inner wisdom and ancient knowing. During the week, you may also book private healing sessions with Dini, along with massage treatments at the on-site Mayan spa.
You will leave with a full heart and the option to join the 5-week Applied Yoga Philosophy online program at a special retreat discount. This optional but recommended support is designed to help integrate your experience into daily life and sustain the energy, ease, peace, bliss, and insight you cultivate here.

Dini has devoted nearly 20 years to yoga and is a 500RYT teacher with more than 4,000 teaching hours. Her background also includes Reiki, ayurveda, Tantra, doula work, Vedic astrology, and international retreat leadership. A nomadic mother of three, she speaks seven languages and finds joy in nature, ecstatic dance, fire-twirling, and guitar.
Her teaching blends vinyasa flow and Yin Yoga in a style shaped by deep authenticity and ongoing study. She regularly continues her own practice through silent Vipassana retreats, Yin immersions, Tantric trainings, shamanic ceremonies, ISTA work, anatomy workshops, and daily rituals on and off the mat.
Her work has touched people from many walks of life, from refugees and prisoners to corporate parents and superyacht owners. When not leading yoga and Tantra retreats or teacher trainings, she has spent the past decade living on a boat with her young family and sailing the seven seas. She is passionate about creating a more peaceful and sustainable world, beginning with inner transformation.
