Private Kambo Ceremony

Set within CAIM’s ceremonial roundhouse and surrounded by private woodland, this intimate experience invites you to sit in connection with the Great Spirit of Kambô.

Found high in the rainforest canopy, Kambô, also known as Phyllomedusa bicolor, is a powerful natural frog medicine that has been used traditionally for thousands of years by Indigenous peoples of the Amazon.

Its secretion is said to help the body rapidly release pathogens and environmental toxins that contribute to many health concerns, while also supporting mental clarity and a deeper connection to spirit. Kambô is not a poison or toxin, as some claim. Scientific research shows that it contains a unique and highly complex blend of bioactive peptides, many of which have antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal properties that support the immune system. These peptides work in harmony with the body, acting as a catalyst for releasing deep-rooted toxins, stagnant energy, and trapped emotions.

Private ceremonies offer the opportunity to sit with this medicine directly with Rory and Shannon, or with a group of your choosing. Private groups are limited to 10 participants, and both CAIM owners facilitate the experience, bringing nearly 10 years of work with Kambô. When the body is cleansed, many people report a greater sense of well-being, clearer thinking, and increased energy, supporting a stronger capacity to meet the challenges of human life.

CAIM owner Rory is an advanced Kambô practitioner with the IAKP | International Association of Kambô Practitioners. The IAKP is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting the safe, responsible, and professional use of Kambô through training, awareness, knowledge development and sharing, personal skills development, research, and best practice. Shannon has apprenticed alongside Rory throughout his training.

Choosing to sit, connect, or reconnect with this powerful medicine is a deeply personal decision and calling. If you would prefer to take part in a group ceremony, you are invited to explore the community Kambo ceremonies. They look forward to the possibility of welcoming you.

IMPORTANT: Everyone who chooses to sit in ceremony must complete a detailed health form to ensure the medicine is suitable to receive. After your enquiry is submitted, you will be contacted directly to discuss the possibility of joining.
