Receive training in Applied Yoga Anatomy + Muscle Activation™ for yoga teachers, deepen your anatomy knowledge, and learn how to access muscle function. The curriculum also includes sequencing transformational yoga classes, understanding the energetic and subtler effects of asana, and designing classes based on Ayurvedic principles. You’ll develop knowledge of both physical anatomy and physiology, as well as energy anatomy and physiology, including chakras and nadis.

Techniques, Training and Practice
Study the anatomical and energetic categories of postures, build a daily meditation practice, and work with pranayamas, kriyas, chanting, mantra, meditation, and other traditional yoga techniques. You’ll also learn how to structure transformational 60- and 90-minute classes, gain practical experience teaching postures, classes, and meditation, and explore deep relaxation methods, including Yoga Nidra from both the Himalayan and Western traditions. Additional topics include fire rituals, Kundalini Yoga techniques, and the subtle energetic aspects of yoga such as the koshas and chakras, along with Kriya Yoga and Laya Yoga.
