Expect days filled with temple visits, ancient ruins, and unforgettable landscapes, balanced with rest, renewal, and the healing atmosphere of Peru. Begin with a few days of acclimatization in Cusco, wandering cobblestone streets and discovering remarkable Incan stonework on the way to Korikancha Temple, once the holiest site of Incan times. Then continue into the Andes to the Willka T'ika wellness center, where guests enjoy exclusive access to Sacred Chakra Gardens, farm-to-table vegetarian meals, fully equipped yoga studios, a round music shala, and a cozy library with a fireplace. The journey also includes the iconic train ride to Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
Day 1, November 06, arrival at Cusco airport & transfer to Willka T'ika in the Sacred Valley
Group transfer at 11:30 a.m. from Cusco airport to Willka T'ika, a scenic 75-minute drive to Urubamba.
1:00 pm lunch, welcome orientation with the leader, guide, and Willka T'ika Quechua staff.
4:30 pm yoga session & opening circle.
6:30 pm group welcome dinner.
Day 2, November 07, fire ceremony
This day honors Pachamama, Mother Earth, and the Quechua principle of Ayni, the tradition of reciprocal giving and receiving.
07:00 morning yoga, pranayama, and meditation.
08:30 breakfast.
Relax, meditate, or enjoy a guided walk through the nearby Rumichaka farming neighborhood. More challenging hikes are also possible.
1:00 lunch, followed by a visit with a Q'ero healer from the high Andes, coca leaf blessings, and an optional private coca leaf reading for an additional fee.
5:00 sacred Despacho ceremony.
7:00 dinner, followed by an authentic Andean Fire Ceremony.
Day 3, November 08, Pisaq and school visit
Early breakfast and departure for a day centered on Ayni. Visit a Quechua mountain school supported by the Willka T'ika Children's Fund and take part in an interactive activity with the children. After a scenic box lunch, continue to the ruins of P'isaq for a short or longer hike, then visit the colorful market before returning for an afternoon yoga session and dinner.
Day 4, November 09, Machu Picchu
Early breakfast, then take the tourist train to Aguas Calientes and enjoy a guided tour of Machu Picchu. In the evening, continue exploring the ruins and hike to the Sun Gate or the Incan Bridge. Celebrate with dinner in Aguas Calientes.
Day 5, November 10, Machu Picchu
Open day at Machu Picchu with entrance ticket included, and the option to climb Machu Picchu Peak or Huayna Picchu Peak, subject to availability. Return to Aguas Calientes, then travel back to Willka T'ika for a late light dinner and yoga session.
Day 6, November 11, Ollantaytambo & Maras Salt Mines
Morning yoga, pranayama, and meditation, followed by breakfast. Visit Ollantaytambo and its Sun Temple, then enjoy a picnic lunch on the way back. In the afternoon, explore the Maras Salt Flats, still actively mined today, and return via a guided downhill hike with sweeping valley views. Evening yoga and dinner follow.
Day 7, November 12, Urubamba & cacao ceremony
Morning yoga, pranayama, and meditation, breakfast, then a guided hike to Urubamba through farming neighborhoods, including a lively local market and the Seminario ceramics shop. After lunch at Willka T'ika, join a cacao ceremony, dinner, and a celebratory concert with Andean music.
Day 8, November 13, Cusco
After morning yoga and breakfast, transfer to Cusco with stops at the Moray Circles and the weaving village of Chinchero. Check into your hotel near Plaza de Armas, enjoy lunch, then take a guided walk through San Blas and visit Korikancha Temple. Dinner is on your own.
Day 9, November 14, Cusco
Visit Tipón’s ritual fountains, then continue to Saksaywaman for meditation, hiking, and a picnic lunch. In the evening, gather for dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 10, November 15, Palcoyo Rainbow Mountain & the Stone Forest
Early departure to Palcoyo, one of the three Rainbow Mountain options. After breakfast at a local buffet restaurant, continue to the trailhead for the hike. Return to Cusco around 4 pm for dinner and farewells.
Day 11, November 16, departure day
Transfer to the airport or extend your stay in Cusco. By now, you will be well acclimatized and ready for more hiking if you choose to remain longer.
The retreat is hosted at Willka T'ika Resort in the Sacred Valley at 2,865 m / 9,400 ft, just north of Urubamba and within easy reach of Cusco Airport and Ollantaytambo train station. Recognized as Peru’s premier luxury wellness retreat and boutique hotel, it is also the original yoga center of the Sacred Valley.
Highlights include Seven Chakra Gardens, farm-to-table vegetarian cuisine, two sunlit yoga studios, the Wifiwasi lounge, the circular Takiwasi Music Shala, the Yachaywasi library with a fireplace, and breathtaking access to the Andes. The retreat is supported by a heart-centered local team of 22 Quechua staff members and expert guides.
Daily gourmet vegetarian farm-to-table meals feature Andean grains, legumes, and fresh organic vegetables from the gardens. Breakfasts and three-course dinners blend Andean and international flavors. Special dietary requests such as dairy-free or gluten-free can be accommodated.
VERY EARLY BIRD RETREAT PRICE (until 30 December 2026)
A reservation requires a 500 USD deposit. The deposit is refundable if cancellation is made at least 120 days before the retreat start date. The remaining balance is due 120 days before arrival and is non-refundable. Travel insurance is required, as refunds are not available unless another participant fills your space.
Guests are strongly encouraged to arrive in Peru a couple of days before the retreat begins. If international flights are delayed, you can still reach Cusco on time.

Willka T'ika offers therapeutic Andean-style spa treatments to restore the body and rejuvenate the spirit, including massage, reflexology, facials, Andean Solar Baths, and Crystal Light Therapy.
Willka T'ika Children's Fund
Since 1995, the Willka T'ika Children's Fund has supported Quechua children in isolated mountain schools with buildings, hot meals, computers, libraries, school supplies, and emergency medical help. Proceeds from the gift shop contribute to this fund.
