Retreat, a return to a place of origin, is an ancient practice found in many cultures. Our retreat cabins offer a rare opportunity to be completely secluded and alone in a remote mountain setting. Here, you can sustain intensive practice and connect with your innermost being in true privacy. Every cabin is well suited for solitary retreat, with expansive views and remote placement for maximum seclusion. Each one includes a single bed, wood stove heat, a gas burner or cooking stove, and kitchen utensils. Retreatants bring their own food, bedding, and practice materials. There is no running water, electricity, phone, or internet service. Each cabin also has an outhouse. Wildlife is abundant.

No smoking, drugs, or intoxicants are permitted at the cabins.

Reservations

A $15 non-refundable application fee is required to proceed with booking a solitary retreat cabin. Arrivals and departures are available only on Mondays or Fridays.

Retreat Fees

Cabin rates depend on the length of your retreat, with a minimum stay of three nights and the possibility of extending for several years with permission from an authorized teacher. Retreat fees include your cabin reservation, fuel (wood and propane), retreatant care (weekly shopping for retreats longer than one week), and various supplies. Food is not provided. All payments must be received at least 30 days before your arrival on the land.
