This half-term retreat is designed to thank and support teachers, offering a chance to pause, prioritise wellbeing, and leave with practical tools for navigating stress in high-pressure roles.
Time: 9am–5.30pm
Costs: Subsidised places: £50 per person, covering all sessions and catering
Actual cost £165 per person: Funding has been provided through the Farming in Protected Landscapes programme from Defra and the Kent Downs National Landscape.

The programme combines simple mind-body practices from the Sophrology method, nature connection, nutrition, and group reflection.
Following the retreat, participants will receive a resource pack with insights and tools to continue their nature connection and mindfulness practices.

The day will take place in the cosy Granary at The Quadrangle and will be facilitated by experienced teachers and nature connection guides, with the programme shaped around the specific needs of the group.
The Shepherd’s Barn offers a private double bedroom designed for a comfortable and restful stay. Guests have the convenience of an ensuite bathroom with a shower, creating a simple and practical space to unwind after a day in the countryside.
