In today’s fast-paced world, many people are searching for meditation practices that are direct, effective, and immediately felt. When the mind is under strain, there is a natural desire for a clear inner experience, relief, unity, and freedom. This becomes possible when a person brings even a basic level of readiness and intelligence to the practice.
The best way to begin a spiritual journey is through the body and physical reality, as this is the foundation and the most visible starting point. First the body is prepared, cleansed, and transformed; then the mind; and finally the soul. In this way, the physical body, its cells and genomes, as well as the emotional, mental, soul, and spiritual layers, can be purified, transformed, and healed more easily and effectively.
Osho Dynamic Meditation is described as a morning practice of cleansing, transformation, and renewal for the body, emotions, mind, energy, and soul. It unfolds through a sequence of preparatory phases and a final meditative stage, creating a powerful whole-body experience.
This meditation is especially suited to the hurried, tense modern Western person, because it can bring results right away. Under Prembuda’s guidance, the practice is approached through kundalini energy and conscious awareness, helping participants feel the effects of meditation and inner growth with greater ease. Consciousness supports the process of seeing, understanding, and realizing one’s nature and potential.
The practice includes five phases: the first three last 10 minutes each, and the fourth and fifth last 15 minutes each. The first phase is spontaneous, rapid, and deep breathing; the second is catharsis and cleansing; the third is jumping with the “hu” sound; the fourth is stillness and meditation; and the fifth is dance. It is recommended to meditate in the morning on an empty stomach, wearing light, hygienic, and comfortable clothing, with the eyes closed. An eye covering may be helpful, as the gaze can draw attention outward.
This innovative meditation is designed primarily to clear the mind. At the same time, through relaxation, gibberish, and expressive talking, the body and emotions are also released and cleansed before the practice moves inward. It is especially beneficial after Dynamic Meditation, as the body and emotions have already been opened and purified, allowing the experience to go deeper and higher.
In the first part, conscious talking is used to express everything that feels tense, heavy, or obstructive, from calmness to near madness. This is like the edge of a cyclone, where mental clutter, ideas, and fixations are consciously and unconsciously released. In that clearing, space appears for silence and peace, making it much easier to sense the direction of no-mind awareness.
In the second part, the cyclone ends and the participant moves inward, toward the center and into consciousness. Inner awareness awakens like a seed or young plant. Outer movement ends, and the journey continues beyond the mind. Everything is witnessed from within, at a distance, like a film, a dream, or a view from a hill. As the process deepens, even the sense of “I” disappears into unity, silence, and freedom.
Under Prembuda’s guidance, this meditation is also approached through kundalini energy and conscious awareness, helping participants observe thoughts and inner energies and discover their own nature and potential.
The Beyond-Mind Meditation has three phases: the first and second last 20 minutes each, and the third lasts 5 minutes. The first phase is talking and mind cleansing, the second is silence and moving inward, and the third is death and rebirth, with the eyes closed. An eye covering may also be useful here.
The practice will be led by meditation master Prembuda, a scientist, Doctor of Technical Sciences, and dedicated worker, founder of the Ojas Meditation Center from the Osho International Meditation Resort.
