Learn Reiki at your own pace, on a schedule that works for you.
The program is designed to meet you where you are, with instruction tailored to your needs and interests throughout each stage of the training.
Typically completed over three months, this course lays the foundation for your Reiki journey, whether you plan to use it for personal practice, support friends and family, or continue toward professional work. The material is presented in manageable steps to help build confidence and skill.
You will meet in person once a month for instruction in principles and techniques, with plenty of time to practice in between. Monthly Reiki Shares provide additional opportunities to refine your abilities alongside other Reiki students and practitioners. To receive your Reiki I certificate, you must demonstrate basic table sessions and complete at least eight practice sessions. Many of these can be done during class, Reiki Shares, and mentoring sessions, though some practice time outside of class is still expected. When you are ready, a certification appointment will be scheduled to complete the training.
There are two ways to take the one-on-one course: Supported Learner or Independent Learner. Both packages are the same except that the Supported Learner option includes three 45-minute mentoring sessions, one for each part of the program. These sessions can be used to ask questions, practice techniques, and/or receive Reiki.
Private class times are scheduled during the week.
After a meditation, this class begins with energy fundamentals, the history of Reiki, and our lineage. The session also covers guiding principles, how Reiki works, techniques for sensing energy, self-treatment, and an overview of the chakra system. A short amount of homework will be assigned before Part Two.
