New Year, restore, relax, rejuvenate, set new Intentions for 2027

January 8th-10th 2027 Weekend Retreat:

Begin the year with space to restore, relax, and rejuvenate, while also setting fresh intentions for 2027. Most of all, this is an invitation to step away and give yourself the time you need to release the heaviness of the Christmas season.

Across this weekend retreat, you will have the opportunity to deepen your yoga practice and explore ways to support nervous system regulation through yoga, sauna, cacao ceremony, breathwork, meditation, sound bath, journaling, lake swimming, and walks in nature. Held in the heart of winter, the retreat is designed to nourish the physical, emotional, and spiritual self after the pace of the festive season. You will also create intentions for 2027 and offer to the fire whatever you are ready to leave behind.

Located at Lough Mardal, Bradlieve, Ballintra, Co. Donegal, F94 W4FE.

The Living Intuitively with Cara retreat weekend will include movement, nature, and deep rest: walks, yoga, sea and lake swimming, sauna by the lake, nourishing food, meditation, and self-care practices inspired by Ayurveda. The retreat will also honour feminine energy through yin and yang movement classes, breathwork, sound meditation, nature walks, women’s circle, journaling, and optional sea or lake swimming.

Arrival is from 3.30pm on Friday 8th, and the retreat ends at 12pm on Sunday 10th.

Accommodation is in Eco Sky Dome Yurts.

Meals include breakfast, snacks, lunch, and dinner, all included.

All meals are vegetarian.

Optional sea swim, beach walk, and hike.

Trips to some of Ireland’s most beautiful blue-flag beaches are within a short drive, including Rossnowlagh and Tullan Strand.

Retreat price: €470 per person in a shared yurt of 3.

Each yurt has 4 single beds, but for this retreat there will be only 3 guests in each yurt.

First deposit: €235 is required when booking.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations within 30 days of the retreat start date (9th December) are non-refundable.

Cancellations up to 30 days of the retreat start date, part of initial deposit paid of €80 to hold your spot is non-refundable.

SKY DOME YURT LIFE
There is nothing quite like staying in a yurt. Simple yet magical, with wooden lattice walls and radial rafters, it creates a sense of the exotic. The yurts are well spaced to ensure seclusion and privacy. Each one is luxuriously furnished with a comfortable seating area and styled with sheepskins, cosy Donegal tweed wool blankets, heavy 15 tog duvets, fluffed pillows, and crisp white linen. All offer beautiful views of the lake, mountains, and forest. There are 4 single beds available in each yurt.

THE LODGE
The Lodge is a communal amenity and social hub for retreat guests. It offers a large space ideal for movement classes, along with toilets and hot showers. Its standout feature is the striking Reciprocal Room, a light-filled lounge with spiralling beams overhead and sweeping views of the lake, forestry, and mountains.
