Begin in Cetinje, the former royal capital of Montenegro and a city often described as an open-air museum. Founded in the 15th century, it became the heart of Montenegrin political and cultural life. Today, its 18th- and 19th-century architecture, green surroundings, museums, parks, promenades, and art institutions create a unique atmosphere where history and nature meet.
Continue to Njeguši, one of Montenegro’s best-known villages and the birthplace of the Petrović dynasty, which ruled the country for 300 years. Here, you will have the chance to taste traditional local products in the oldest tavern of its kind in Montenegro, operating since 1881.
The route then follows the famous Lovćen Serpentine, a road known not only for its spectacular views but also for the stories connected to different cultural influences that arrived in Montenegro through the centuries. A photo stop is included along the way.
In Kotor, explore one of the Adriatic’s most remarkable old towns, enclosed by impressive medieval walls and recognized as part of the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage. Wander through narrow streets and squares, see the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon, and admire the city’s maritime character. There is also free time to enjoy a meal, shop, or climb the walls to the San Giovanni fortress for panoramic views over Boka Bay.
The tour continues to Budva, where you will visit the Old Town, its charming churches and squares, the Citadel, and the marina, before returning at the end of the trip.
