This traditional mindfulness insight meditation retreat offers a supportive space to step away from daily distractions and settle into a deeper rhythm of practice. Participants will move through silent periods of sitting and walking meditation, along with dedicated times for practice discussions that help integrate the experience.
Each day includes a talk and systematic meditation instructions focused on the four foundations of mindfulness, rooted in lovingkindness. The teachings are designed to quiet the mind, open the heart, and nurture clarity, wisdom, and compassion, while encouraging a more profound connection to practice.
This retreat is well suited for anyone looking to deepen their mindfulness meditation journey and strengthen their understanding of the path. It may also be especially meaningful for those who teach, or aspire to teach, mindfulness in different settings. Please note that this retreat fulfills part of the retreat requirements for MBSR teacher training.
