This retreat offers gay men a thoughtful space to explore positive aging, with a special focus on how sexuality evolves over time. It creates room for honest reflection on what it means to grow older with openness, confidence, and self-awareness.
Set in a warm and supportive environment, participants are invited to reflect on the gifts of elderhood and strengthen their capacity for a life rich in meaning and social connection. The experience includes meaningful conversations, skilled touch, and the chance to spend a week in paradise.

What's Included
Accommodations: Purposefully designed beachfront eco-friendly rooms with ocean views, plus access to the 25-meter pool.
Meals: Three farm-to-table meals each day, prepared with homegrown organic ingredients, along with snacks and additional nourishment to keep you satisfied and energized throughout the week.
Transportation: Airport transfer from Puerto Jimenez to Blue Osa and return taxes.
Also Included: The week features both large-group and small-group experiences. Some activities are centered on building touch skills, and midway through the week there is an opportunity to explore the beauty of Costa Rica through optional tours.
About Your Instructor
John R. Ballew, M.S. is a licensed professional counselor in private practice in Atlanta. His work focuses on relationships, intimacy, sexuality, anxiety, depression, and work-life balance. He has taught with The Body Electric School for more than 20 years.
Both professionally and personally, he is especially interested in what it means to live a good and meaningful life, particularly in midlife and beyond.

Just a few meters from the dining room, pool, yoga studio, spa, and beach, the room offers both convenience and a peaceful retreat atmosphere. Whether you are heading to an early yoga session, enjoying a quiet moment by the water, or returning from a spa treatment, everything is within easy reach.
