Designed for travelers who want a deeper experience of the Amazon, this tour allows more time to explore Manu National Park and its most important strategic locations. With a slower pace and a focus on the highlights, you’ll have a greater chance to observe the region’s remarkable wildlife and take in the beauty of the jungle surroundings.
Patience, time, and luck are essential companions on this journey, and we work with all three to help create the best possible experience. This is an opportunity to connect more closely with the rainforest, enjoy its natural rhythms, and return home with memorable impressions of the jungle.

Settle into a peaceful jungle hideaway at Tahuayo Lodge, deep in the Peruvian Amazon Rainforest. This spacious suite combines rustic charm with thoughtful comfort, making it a welcoming choice for couples or solo travelers looking to experience the wilderness without sacrificing ease. Hand-crafted wooden furnishings, screened windows, and mosquito-netted bedding create a simple yet inviting atmosphere, while the surrounding rainforest offers immersive views that place you right at the heart of nature.
Located at the main Tahuayo Lodge, this private cabin comes with its own bathroom and access to a wider range of activities than the Research Center. Guests can also enjoy hot shower water, fans available for the cabins, and unlimited purified drinking water throughout their stay. With its open-air, rustic setting and cozy queen bed, the suite offers a comfortable base for days filled with Amazon adventure and quiet moments of rest.

Set within the Amazon Research Center (ARC), these cabins offer a more secluded and untouched forest stay, located about 2 hours upriver from the main lodge. The ARC is officially recognized as a research institution by Peru’s national science council, CONCYTEC, adding a unique scientific setting to this remote Amazon experience.
Private, simple, and comfortable, the cabins provide an excellent base for guests who want to spend more time exploring the surrounding wilderness. More than 75 km of trails extend through a remarkable range of ecosystems, including igapo, bajial, high and low restinga, and palm swamp. This area is especially appealing for travelers interested in longer hikes and a richer chance of spotting wildlife, with species such as jaguars and giant river otters among the highlights.
Included amenities:
While the cabins are private, bathrooms are shared, keeping the experience simple and practical for a deep-forest stay.
