Melanie Bonk is a Certified Love, Sex & Relationship Coach, Somatic Trauma-Informed Therapist, and Sexual Empowerment Guide with nearly three decades of lived partnership. A wife of 26+ years and mama of four boys (and a CrossFit coach), she brings real-life devotion, humor, and grit, so intimacy skills work in the wild, not just on the mat. Rooted in tantric wisdom and somatic psychology, Melanie's BONK BETTER method blends science-backed tools, nervous-system regulation, soulful communication, and sacred pleasure practices. Her facilitation is consent-first and shame-free: you choose your pace, your edges, and every "no" is holy. (And yes, she sometimes spins as a Pleasure Priestess DJ - because ritual can be rhythmic.)
John-Adam Bonk, MD has served patients in the Emergency Department for 20+ years, tending to people on their hardest days with steadiness, clarity, and care. That frontline experience trained him to read nervous systems quickly, de-escalate intensity, and create calm in the storm—skills he now brings to intimacy work. For the past 5+ years, he's practiced tantra and embodiment alongside Melanie, exploring presence, breath, movement, and repair as practical, everyday love skills.

Ashland is a very walk-able town, the farthest place we send you is about 1 mile from the Inn . If you wish to rent a car or drive yourself we have free parking on-site. You may also hire us for daily transportation for $50 per couple per day.
Transportation around town during your retreat or to and from the airport is available for $50 a day for both of you. We also have Uber and Lyft local.

A couple's reiki session starts with breath work, relaxation, and a few simple energy medicine techniques will help to guide us in the right direction. I then intuitively use a body scan with my hands and in general use a hovering technique to allow the flow of Reiki from the highest frequencies to pass through me to the recipients. Reiki is an ancient system of natural healing that works with the human energy bio-field. It is administered with a light touch of the hands upon various parts of the body in a pattern that promotes optimum energy balance. There is no right or wrong way to receive reiki from the session and a client is free to talk or remain silent to receive the benefits. Includes a sound session ranging from 10-45mins. Option to learn about the flow of energy and place hands of each other to help each others healing/balancing process during the session.

Additionally, professional hair and makeup artistry is provided, along with multiple outfit changes for a fully directed photo session.
The package encompasses the entire session experience, along with a $3,000 purchase credit towards your total order. Since the sessions are tailored to individual needs, final costs may vary based on the size of the image collection and optional items such as albums or wall art. The purchase credit covers the base collection of 8 portraits with matching prints, as well as one small wall art piece. * Fees also, include transportation to and from Photo Studio.
