La Paz Waterfall Gardens

As we make our way up the mountain, the landscape begins to shift with the altitude, bringing cooler air and a changing mix of vegetation. Along the route, coffee plantations and farms filled with ferns, flowers, and strawberries create a vibrant and scenic journey.

Once at La Paz Waterfall Gardens, guests will follow walking trails through a lush tropical rainforest, where flowing white rivers and dramatic waterfalls set the tone for a memorable nature experience. Along the way, it is possible to spot birds, butterflies, monkeys, and hummingbirds in their natural surroundings. The visit also includes a range of educational animal exhibits, such as the Aviary, Butterfly Observatory, Hummingbird Garden, Serpentarium, Jungle Cats Exhibit, and Frog Exhibit. It is an ideal outing for nature lovers of all ages.

After the tour, a buffet lunch awaits, recognized with 4 Forks by the Costa Rican Tourism Council. The meal features a variety of traditional Costa Rican dishes and additional selections to complete the experience.
